Wordpress Update Post Afterthought (New Greasemonkey Script)

by Snake Arsenic on Feb.01, 2009, under News

A simple script that brings you back to the post your editing after a common cause of “Page not found” errors when the update button is clicked.

This script runs specifically when a certain phrase such as “Page not found” occurs in the title of the page after you edit the post.

This is case-sensitive and if it doesn’t work for your error page you may have to set it up by using the WP Update Post Afterthought set to page title. option from the Greasemonkey User Script Commands Menu. This option will appear on the error page and the dashboard home page.
